When depression hasn’t improved enough

What is Spravato?
Spravato is the brand name for esketamine nasal spray. Esketamine is related to ketamine, but Spravato is a distinct FDA-approved medication with its own administration and safety requirements.
FDA materials identify risks including sedation, dissociation, respiratory depression, and abuse or misuse. Because of these risks, it is available through the restricted SPRAVATO REMS program and must be administered under supervision in a certified healthcare setting.
