Website use

Terms and Conditions

Effective date: October 8, 2026

Please review these terms before using the clinic’s website, contact form, or Care Assistant. They address website use, not your separate clinical care agreements.

Read our Privacy Policy

About these website terms

These Terms and Conditions govern use of blueskymentalhealthclinic.com, operated by Blue Sky Mental Health Clinic, LLC. By using this website, you agree to these terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the website. You may still contact the clinic by phone about care or to exercise your rights.

These terms apply to the public website and its informational tools. They do not replace clinical informed consent, treatment agreements, billing policies, the clinic’s Notice of Privacy Practices, or terms provided by a separate scheduling or patient-portal service.

Information is not medical advice

Website content and Care Assistant responses provide general information about the clinic and mental health topics. They are not individualized medical advice, a diagnosis, a prescription, or a treatment recommendation. Using the website, sending an inquiry, or chatting with the Care Assistant does not by itself establish a clinician–patient relationship.

Consult a qualified health care professional about your symptoms, medications, or treatment. Do not disregard professional advice, delay seeking care, or change medication based on website content. Educational information is not a guarantee of a particular treatment outcome.

This website is not an emergency service. If you are in immediate danger or experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department. For mental health crisis support in the United States, call or text 988. Do not wait for a website response.

Contact form and Care Assistant

The general inquiry form is for office questions. The Care Assistant is an automated informational tool, not a clinician or a substitute for professional judgment. Responses may be incomplete or may not reflect current appointment availability; confirm important details directly with the clinic.

Do not use these tools for urgent clinical concerns, prescription refills, medical-record requests containing sensitive details, or emergencies. Do not submit medical records, diagnoses, medication lists, Social Security numbers, payment-card details, insurance identification numbers, or another person’s confidential information.

Website tools are not continuously monitored clinical channels. Submitting a message does not guarantee a response within a particular time. Use the clinic’s authorized channels for clinical communication, and provide accurate contact information when requesting an office response.

The public website does not require a patient account. Accounts or credentials used on third-party scheduling or patient-portal services are governed by those services’ terms.

Appointments, clinical services, and fees

Appointment links direct you to an external scheduling service. Clicking a link or submitting a request does not by itself guarantee a confirmed appointment, a specific provider, insurance coverage, eligibility for a treatment, or a particular outcome. Confirm appointment details and coverage with the clinic and, when applicable, your insurer.

Clinical services are subject to appropriate evaluation, provider availability, applicable licensing requirements, and any separate treatment agreements. The clinic provides services in Maryland and Washington, DC; website access from another location does not establish eligibility for care there.

These website terms do not establish clinical fees, cancellation charges, refund rules, or insurance benefits. Ask the clinic for the billing, payment, and cancellation policies that apply to your care. The public website is not a payment-processing service.

Acceptable use

Use the website lawfully and respectfully. You must not:

  • Impersonate another person, misrepresent your authority, or submit fraudulent information.
  • Attempt unauthorized access to systems, records, accounts, or confidential information.
  • Introduce malicious software, bypass security controls, or disrupt the website or its supporting services.
  • Use automated requests to disrupt service or unlawfully collect personal information.
  • Submit threats, harassment, unlawful content, or information that infringes another person’s rights.
  • Use clinic branding or content to misrepresent an affiliation, endorsement, or clinical qualification.

Access to website tools may be restricted to address misuse, security concerns, or legal requirements. Restrictions on public website access do not eliminate your legal rights concerning existing care or medical records.

Website content and your submissions

Website text, images, logos, and other materials may be protected by copyright, trademark, or other rights belonging to the clinic or their respective owners. You may view and print website information for personal, noncommercial reference, subject to applicable law and any notices accompanying the material. Do not remove ownership notices or reproduce protected material for commercial use without appropriate permission.

You retain any rights you have in information you submit. Submitting an inquiry allows the clinic and its service providers to process it for delivery, response, and other purposes described in the Privacy Policy and permitted by law. It does not transfer ownership of your information or authorize unrelated disclosure of health information.

External links and services

The website links to third-party services, including Tebra scheduling and external educational resources. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies. Review them before providing information or using their services.

The clinic does not control third-party websites and cannot guarantee their availability, accuracy, security, or practices. A link does not by itself mean that the clinic endorses every statement, product, or service on the linked website. These terms do not waive any responsibility the clinic has under applicable law for its own activities.

Privacy and children’s use

Read the Privacy Policy for website data-handling information and the HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices for protected health information and patient privacy rights. Acceptance of these website terms is not a HIPAA authorization and does not waive confidentiality protections or patient rights.

The public inquiry form and Care Assistant are not intended to collect personal information from children under 13. A parent or guardian should contact the clinic about services for a child without sending sensitive details through these tools. This website-use restriction does not establish the age requirements for clinical services or change applicable minor-consent and confidentiality laws.

Accuracy and website availability

The clinic aims to provide useful, accurate information, but website information may contain errors or become outdated. Content and features may be updated, interrupted, or discontinued. Confirm details important to your care directly with the clinic.

To the extent permitted by law, the public website and its informational tools are provided “as is” and “as available,” without a guarantee of uninterrupted access, error-free content, or suitability for a particular purpose. This statement applies to website information and technology, not to the professional standards required for clinical care.

Legal protections and limits of responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the clinic is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising solely from use of, or inability to access, the public website or its informational tools.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, waives rights relating to professional care or protected health information, or limits your right to file a complaint with a regulator. These terms do not require arbitration or waive class-action rights.

These terms are subject to applicable United States federal law and the state or District of Columbia laws that apply to the activity or dispute. Nothing in these terms displaces mandatory patient, privacy, or consumer protections or changes a court’s jurisdiction under applicable law.

Changes to these terms

Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Changes govern future website use to the extent permitted by law and do not automatically amend a separate treatment agreement or authorize new uses of protected health information. Any additional notice or consent required by applicable law must also be provided.
